Practitioners describe readings in different ways. A session may involve a conversation before the reading, a series of impressions or statements from the practitioner, and time for the client to respond or ask questions. Some sessions happen in person and others online.
Because practices differ, there is no single standardized procedure. A good preparation step is to ask what information the practitioner needs in advance and whether they prefer you to share the animal’s name, photograph, age or background.
Readers can treat a session as a personal or spiritual experience without assuming that every statement is independently verified. Keep ordinary explanations, memory, suggestion and coincidence in mind when evaluating what happened.
