Pet Loss and Grief: A Gentle, Practical Guide
Losing a pet can change daily routines and create a profound sense of absence. Grief does not follow one timetable. A photo book, letter, memory box, preserved collar, garden or private remembrance ritual can help create space for the relationship. Ordinary triggers such as toys, food bowls and familiar routes can bring back strong feelings. If grief significantly interferes with functioning, sleep, self-care, work or relationships for an extended period, consider qualified mental-health support.
Important: Spiritual and intuitive practices are described as beliefs or experiences, not scientifically established facts. They should not replace veterinary care or qualified mental-health support.
